Step 1 - Contact Cartis Payments
We are your partner in facilitating a smooth integration and putting you in touch with the right individuals to move things along and address any questions you have along the way. You will want to start by reaching out to our team, where we will listen to your requirements, understand your business and client base and work with you to help you formulate a plan. To help us get started. you can submit an integration consultation request.
Step 2 -Identify Integration / Discovery Call
Whether you already have an idea of the direction you are looking to take with your payment integration or need guidance for the best route to take, we will connect you with a technical consultant for a discovery call to help the project take shape.
Step 3 - Initial Setup and Solution Engineer Assignment
Following the discovery call, depending on your integration type you will be sent the applicable tools needed to move forward:
Corresponding links within the developer portal and sample codes
Sandbox account (You will be asked to provide IP/URL for whitelisting if applicable)
Demo units
SDK one drive / Postman Collections
Any outstanding due diligence / integration paperwork that needs to be submitted
Simultaneously, if you are ready to kick off your integration, a dedicated solution engineer will get assigned to the life of the project. You will have an initial introductory call to get acquainted and on the same page and they will be available to you for any questions/troubleshooting that come up along the way.
Step 4 - Coding and Development
You will work on developing your application
Both the Cartis team and your assigned Elavon solution engineer is on standby and ready to assist with any questions that come up at this stage and coordinate follow up calls if needed.
Step 5 - Test and Certify
When you are gearing up towards certification you will complete a solution statement. Once submitted we will put in a request to have a certification analyst assigned.
If you are working on a card present integration, you will want to order B2 EMV test cards
(You'll need the UAT EMV Test Card Set (21 cards) ) to be able to do certification.
Following a brief introductory call with the certification analyst you will be sent a test script to work through test cases.
Upon submission of the test script, peer review will be conducted at Elavon and a certification letter provided.
Step 6 - Boarding your clients
Congratulations! Now that you have completed the integration and certification you can begin referring over your downstream clients to open up merchant accounts with Cartis Payments for integrated credit card processing. We suggest starting with a pilot client to ensure a smooth boarding process and confirm the system and set up is operational.
