If you make a mistake or if your customer changes their mind, you can easily void the transaction.
Voiding means the transaction is not processed and your customer's card is not charged.
You can void any transaction before it is batched and processed. After that, you can issue a refund.
Note: The user voiding the transaction must have user rights to be able to void
1. Open Converge and select Payments in the left navigation menu. Select the transaction(s) you want to void by clicking on a square in the first column. The selected square(s) will be green. Click the VOID button.
2. Choose Cancel or Confirm when prompted.
A message will be displayed that confirms if the transaction was voided successfully.
An alternative method is to click on the transaction to pull up the side bar and then choose void
