You can change your password as well as another user's password if you had the rights to do so.
Note: Converge does not allow your password to be changed more than once within a 24-hour time frame.
Resetting Your Own Password While Logged In
1. Go to Account in the left side menu of Converge. Enter your Old Password, a New Password, then Confirm your New Password. All fields marked with a red asterisk must be completed.
2. Select Cancel or Save when prompted. If you click Save, a confirmation message will appear indicating that your password was successfully changed.
Resetting Another User's Password While Logged In
1. Go to Employees in left side menu of Converge. On the Employee Management page, select the user you want to change the password for.
Note: The ability to view and make changes within Employee Management is based on your own user permissions.
2. Enter the user's new password and confirm the new password. All fields marked with an asterisk are required. Make sure to select a terminal to add to ensure you can edit the user's account in the future and the user is able to process/view transactions for the terminal.
3. Click Cancel or Save.
Resetting Your Own Password Using Forgot Password Option
1. On the login screen, click Forgot Password.
2. Converge will prompt you to enter your Account ID and User ID. Enter both and click Reset Password.
3. Converge will prompt you to answer two security questions to confirm your identity. After answering the questions, click Submit.
4. A security code to reset your password will be sent to the email you have on file. There is a 10 minute period for resetting your password. After 10 minutes, you will need to repeat steps 1 - 4.
